The work of the Learning Exchange depends entirely on our collaborative relationships with organizations in the community and other units at UBC. Over the past ten years we have built solid relationships with a wide variety of community organizations in the Downtown Eastside. And, as we have grown and evolved we have expanded to include community partners in other parts of Vancouver.
For us, new understandings and new ideas for change come about when people get together to achieve shared goals. We are not just setting out to share the knowledge we have.
